Regular Season Round 4: Muenchen OSB - Schwabing 72-62

There was a minor upset when 10th ranked Schwabing (1-3) lost on the road to thirteenth ranked Muenchen OSB (1-5) 72-62 on Saturday. Muenchen OSB forced 22 Schwabing turnovers. Quite impressive performance for forward Jermaine Lippert (203-90, college: Detroit Mercy) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian Luka Maksimovic (195-91) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Center Bent Leuchten (208-2) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Tristan Da-Silva (202-1) added 16 points in the effort for Schwabing. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Muenchen OSB left bottom position moving up to twelfth place in South-East, which they share with Rosenheim and Bad Aibling. Loser Schwabing dropped to the eleventh position with three games lost. Muenchen OSB will face higher ranked Jena II (#4) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
