Regular Season Round 4: TSV Troester - Regnitztal 73-76

Very expected game when 7th ranked TSV Troester (2-3) was edged by second ranked Regnitztal (4-2) in Breitenguessbach 76-73 on Sunday. Quite impressive performance for Brandon Tischler (198-0) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 6 rebounds. Moritz Plescher (195-0) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Four Regnitztal players scored in double figures. Center Erik Land (205-90) replied with 26 points and 6 rebounds and guard Joerg Dippold (195-92) added 14 points and 4 assists in the effort for TSV Troester. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Despite that victory Regnitztal went down to third position (South-East) due to points difference, which they share with Ansbach and Jena II. TSV Troester lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. Regnitztal will face FC Bayern III (#7) in Muenchen in the next round. TSV Troester will play at home against the league's second-placed Treuchtlingen and hope to win that game.
