B1 League top team - Toshiba Thunders (4-0) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked Niigata A. (0-4) 71-62. They outrebounded Niigata A. 42-30 including 31 on the defensive glass. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a very good performance for international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 29 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Toshiba Thunders' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Nick Perkins (203-96, college: Buffalo) replied with 27 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Lamont Hamilton (208-84, college: St.John's) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Niigata A.Toshiba Thunders have a solid four-game winning streak.
