An exciting game was played in Dnipro. Prometey faced Dnipro. Guests from Kamianske (3-0) defeated host Dnipro (3-0) 67-60. Dnipro was ahead by 1 point after three quarters before a 17-9 charge of Prometey, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Dnipro outrebounded Prometey 48-35 including 36 on the defensive glass. American forward Mike Myers (206-92, college: UMES) notched 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Malique Trent (189-94, college: Hampton) supported him with 19 points and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds by the former international center Kyrylo Fesenko (216-86) did not help to save the game for Dnipro. The former international power forward Maxym Korniyenko (205-87) added 4 points and 11 rebounds for the hosts. Dnipro's coach Denys Zhuravlov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Prometey's next round opponent will be Odessa (#8) at home and are hoping to win another game. Dnipro will play against Mykolaiv (#7) and hope to win that game.
