Regular Season Round 4: Svitavy - Brno 94-73

Bottom-ranked Brno (0-4) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to eighth ranked Svitavy (2-2) 94-73 on Saturday evening. Svitavy shot 23 for 36 from the free-throw line, while Brno only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Brno 39-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. At the losing side Lukas Stegbauer (197-95) responded with 16 points and forward Petr Herman (208-94, college: Loyola Mary) scored 14 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Svitavy moved-up to sixth place, which they share with BK Pardubice and BK Decin. Loser Brno still closes the standings with four games lost. Svitavy will face higher ranked BK Olomoucko (#3) in Prostejov in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Brno will play at home against BK Kolin (#10) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
