An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Tokyo. Top-ranked Kyoto H. faced 4th ranked Toyota Alvark. Guests from Kyoto (6-0) defeated host Toyota Alvark (2-2) 100-93. Kyoto H. shot 61.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 60.9 percentage. Kyoto H. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Zimbabwean-American forward Julian Mavunga (203-90, college: Miami, OH, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 8 rebounds and 15 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Alex Kirk (211-91, college: N.Mexico, agency: Pensack Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and international guard Seiya Ando (184-92) added 24 points, 8 assists and 4 steals respectively. Kyoto H. have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Defending champion Toyota Alvark dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. Kyoto H. will have a break next round. Toyota Alvark will play again at home against the league's leader Kyoto H. (#1) and hope to win that game.
