There was a surprise result when sixth ranked Dos Hermanas (2-1) defeated at home leader ULB OH!TELS (2-1) 67-63 on Saturday. It was a key game for the top position in Group D-B. Alvaro Lopez stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 steals for the winners and Manuel-Juan Campos chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds. Center Candido Matoso (207-92) responded with 6 points and 17 rebounds and Danish swingman Alexander Bak (193-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 14 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Dos Hermanas keeps a position of Group D-B leader, which they share with ULB OH!TELS and Utrera. Dos Hermanas will face Matenglish (#9) in San Fernando in the next round and are hoping to win another game. ULB OH!TELS will play at home against Matenglish (#9) and hope to win that game.
