No shocking result in a game when first ranked Toshiba Thunders (5-1) defeated on the road 6th ranked Chiba J. (2-4) 83-73 on Saturday. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures. Toshiba Thunders' coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Gavin Edwards (206-88, college: Connecticut) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Yuki Togashi (170-93) added 19 points respectively. Toshiba Thunders maintains first position with 5-1 record. Loser Chiba J. dropped to the fourth place with four games lost. Toshiba Thunders will have a break next round.
