Regular Season Round 6: USK Praha - Loko Trutnov 141-34

ZBL top team - USK Praha (6-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Loko Trutnov (1-5) 141-34. USK Praha held Loko Trutnov to an opponent 21.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 61.0 percent accuracy of the winners. USK Praha forced 36 Loko Trutnov turnovers and outrebounded them 52-23 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. USK Praha looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Loko Trutnov's players. American center Brionna Jones (190-95, college: Maryland) notched a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds to lead the effort and French forward Valerianne Vukosavljevic (184-94) supported her with 18 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Five USK Praha players scored in double figures. Even 10 points by Katerina Kozumplikova (172-93) did not help to save the game for Loko Trutnov. Forward Eva Skutilova (182-90) added 10 points. Loko Trutnov's coach Michal Martisek gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. USK Praha have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-0 record. Loser Loko Trutnov dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. They share the position with Slovanka MB. USK Praha will meet league's second-placed KP Brno on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Loko Trutnov will play against SBS Ostrava (#5) and hope to win that game.
