The game in Kutaisi was also quite interesting. TSU (3-0) played at the court of Kutaisi (1-2). TSU defeated Kutaisi 91-75 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by TSU. Kutaisi managed to win second period 22-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Kutaisi's 26. TSU looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The best player for the winners was international power forward Giorgi Korsantia (207-98) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. American forward Ricky Madison (201-97, college: High Point) chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds. TSU's coach Leqso Lapanashvili used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard James Milliken (191-93, college: Creighton) who recorded 30 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Beka Bekauri (209-91) added 23 points and 11 rebounds respectively. TSU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Olimpi.
