Regular Season Round 3: Gries/Oberhoffen - Blois 78-77

The biggest surprise of round 3 in ProB took place in Bischwiller where host Gries/Oberhoffen (2-1) edged ADA Blois (2-1) 78-77 on Friday evening. The best player for the winners was Spanish point guard Josep Franch (193-91) who scored 17 points and 4 assists. Spanish forward Asier Zengotitabengoa (199-88) chipped in 17 points. Four Gries/Oberhoffen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Stephane Gombauld (202-97, agency: Slash Sports) who recorded 18 points and 8 rebounds and Senegalese guard Lamine Sambe (188-89) added 19 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. ADA Blois will play next round against Olympique Antibes trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Gries/Oberhoffen will try to continue on its current victory against JA Vichy on the road.
