There was a small surprise when twelfth ranked Deutsche Bank Skyliners (2-3) defeated on the road 10th ranked ratiopharm Ulm (1-3) 78-72. American point guard Lamont Jones (183-90, college: Iona) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points and 7 assists. Center Leon Kratzer (211-97, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Deutsche Bank Skyliners players scored in double figures. Slovenian swingman Zoran Dragic (196-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Grant Jerrett (208-93, college: Arizona) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for ratiopharm Ulm. ratiopharm Ulm's coach let to play twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Deutsche Bank Skyliners moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Vechta and Wuerzburg. ratiopharm Ulm at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with three games lost.
