Very important is a road loss of third ranked Edilnol Bl (2-2) against sixth ranked Novipiu Casale (3-1) on Sunday night. Visiting Edilnol Bl was defeated by Novipiu Casale in a tough game in Casale 65-74. It was a key game for the second position in A2. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward DeShawn Sims (203-88, college: Michigan) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and the former international power forward Niccolo Martinoni (203-89) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Ed Polite-Jr (196-97, college: Radford) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Daniel Donzelli (200-96) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Four Edilnol Bl players scored in double figures. Edilnol Bl's coach Paolo Galbiati rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Novipiu Casale moved-up to second place in A2. Edilnol Bl at the other side dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. Novipiu Casale will play against Bergamo Bsk (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Edilnol Bl will play against Derthona TRT (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
