Regular Season Round 6: Muenster - BSW Sixers 78-88

An interesting game where Sixers (#2) beat host Muenster (#3) 88-78 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Muenster. It was a key game for the top position in North. Sixers made 22-of-22 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Ferdinand Zylka (190-98, agency: BeoBasket) scored 36 points (!!!) (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and American power forward Justin Smith (201-87, college: Hawaii-Hilo) chipped in 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Sixers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Jojo Cooper (183-95, college: Wagner) with 18 points, 8 assists and 4 steals and American-British center Malcolm Delpeche (204-95, college: Bates) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sixers have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of North leader, which they share with Schwelm. Loser Muenster keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Rist Wedel. Sixers will meet at home SC Rist Wedel (#4) in the next round. Muenster will play against Titans in Dresden and hope to secure a win.
