There was a minor upset when 3rd placed Bulls (1-3) lost to fifth ranked Knicks (1-3) in Chicago 98-105 on Monday. Knicks outrebounded Bulls 63-38 including a 25-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for Bobby Portis (208-95, college: Arkansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds. Canadian forward RJ Barrett-Jr (201-0, college: Duke) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Forward Wendell Carter-Jr (208-99, college: Duke) answered with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Zach LaVine (196-95, college: UCLA) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bulls. Five Knicks and four Bulls players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Knicks left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Bulls.
