There was a minor upset in Detroit where their close opponent Pistons (2-3) were defeated by second ranked Raptors (4-1) 125-113 on Wednesday. Raptors dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Pistons' 54. Raptors forced 20 Pistons turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: N.Mexico St.) who scored 30 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Kyle Lowry (183-86, college: Villanova) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was center Andre Drummond (208-93, college: Connecticut) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 22 rebounds and guard Derrick Rose (190-88, college: Memphis) added 16 points and 10 assists respectively. Five Raptors and four Pistons players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Raptors have a solid series of three victories in a row. Defending champion used an opportunity after Utah Jazz lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Pistons dropped to the third place with three games lost.
