And finally the game worth to mention about took place in Tehran where Kerman (1-0) edged by three points Raad (0-1) 72-69 on Thursday night. Raad was very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. Raad was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Majid Rahimian fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Reza Azarshah chipped in 21 points. The former international center Ebrahim Beigi (211-94) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Shayan Pourkavehdehkordi (184-98) added 24 points and 5 steals (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Kerman will face Zob Ahan (#14) in Esfahan in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Raad will play on the road against Toufarghan (#13) in Azarshahr and hope to win that game.
