There was a minor upset when 5th ranked La Fecha (4-2) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Zarautz (3-2) 74-65 on Friday. Zarautz outrebounded La Fecha 40-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. Aitzol Eguskitza (193-90) fired 17 points for the winners. Forward Julen Egana (193-96) chipped in 9 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Jorge Martinez (185-96) produced 14 points and 5 rebounds and guard Eduardo Castano (186-0) added 9 points respectively for lost side. La Fecha's coach Roberto Gonzalez let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Zarautz moved-up to sixth place in Group A-A. Loser La Fecha keeps the fifth position with two games lost. Zarautz will face Santurtzi (#15) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
