Regular Season Round 7: Kondori Lib. - Loko Plzen 63-86

Bottom-ranked Kondori Lib. is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to seventh ranked Loko Plzen (3-4) 86-63 on Friday evening. Loko Plzen dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Kondori Lib.'s 28. Loko Plzen forced 22 Kondori Lib. turnovers. It was a very good performance for forward Jan Madera (196-99) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Vaclav Honomichl (186-92) contributed with 19 points and 4 steals for the winners. Four Loko Plzen players scored in double figures. Point guard Filip Kroutil (190-96) answered with 28 points and 5 rebounds and swingman David Zikla (203-98) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kondori Lib.Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Loko Plzen maintains seventh place in West with 3-4 record. Kondori Lib. lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with six games lost. Loko Plzen will face higher ranked Polabi (#4) in Nymburk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kondori Lib. will play on the road against the league's second-placed Slavoj Litom. (#2) having rather not much hope for a victory.
