A2 round 5 caused change at the leadership position. First defeat of league's leader Apollon P. (4-1) against fourteenth ranked Eleftheroupoli (1-2) 77-57 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Apollon P.. 25 personal fouls committed by Apollon P. helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Serbian guard Nemanja Manojlovic (197-93) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Konstantinos Kampouridis (204-99) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Five Eleftheroupoli players scored in double figures. Angelos Tsamis (192-81) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Fotios Zoumpos (194-93) added 13 points in the effort for Apollon P.Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Eleftheroupoli left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with Napfliou. Apollon P. at the other side dropped to the third position with one game lost.
