We should not miss a road victory of eighth ranked Psychiko (3-2) over 7th ranked Koroivos (2-3) 86-77. Psychiko dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Koroivos' 22. Strangely Koroivos outrebounded Psychiko 38-26 including 29 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was swingman Antonis Mantzaris (193-86) who scored 23 points. Forward Nikolaos Papanikolaou (209-85) chipped in 22 points. Forward Alexandros Sigounas (200-88, agency: Octagon Europe) produced 19 points and 9 rebounds and forward Savas Chrysopoulos (200-89) added 11 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Koroivos players scored in double figures. Koroivos' coach Konstantinos Papadopoulos rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Psychiko have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place. Koroivos at the other side dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Psychiko's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Athens to the arena Dafni.
