Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Slask and 10th ranked Spojnia Stargard had identical 2-3 record. But Spojnia Stargard was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Wroclaw 82-79 on Saturday night. Slask shot 22 for 30 from the free-throw line, while Spojnia Stargard only scored six points from the stripe. Spojnia Stargard was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international point guard Kamil Laczynski (183-89, agency: Alti Sport) scored 14 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Mathieu Wojciechowski (203-92) chipped in 17 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American swingman Raymond Cowels-III (191-91, college: Santa Clara) with 18 points and 5 rebounds and forward Kacper Mlynarski (202-92) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds. Four Spojnia Stargard players scored in double figures. Slask (3-3) moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Radom and MKS DG. Loser Spojnia Stargard dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. Slask will face league's leader Trefl in Sopot in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Spojnia Stargard will play on the road against Start (#7) in Lublin and hope to win that game.
