Regular Season Round 5: Partizan NIS - FMP 90-85

Undefeated FMP (4-1) recorded its first loss in Beograd. Visitors were defeated by fifth ranked Partizan NIS (3-2) 90-85. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of FMP. Partizan NIS made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. American forward Rashawn Thomas (203-94, college: Texas A&M-CC, agency: Wasserman) nailed 23 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winning side and Bosnian point guard Nemanja Gordic (193-88, agency: BeoBasket) accounted for 15 points and 5 assists. Aleksa Radanov (202-98, agency: BeoBasket) came up with 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Turkish swingman Okben Ulubay (200-97) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for FMP in the defeat. Four FMP players scored in double figures. FMP's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Partizan NIS maintains fifth place with 3-2 record, which they share with Mornar Bar and Crvena Zvezda. FMP at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Partizan NIS will play against bottom-ranked KK Zadar (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. FMP will play against Mornar Bar (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
