There was no surprise in Porrino where 8th ranked La Antigua (2-3) was defeated by fourth ranked PBB (4-1) 89-82 on Saturday. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. PBB looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Victor Alonso (196-94) fired 21 points for the winners. Point guard Lucas Vaquero (185-89) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Bosnian Sandro Gacic (201-96) produced 22 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American Nick Moore (198-91, college: Nyack) added 15 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. La Antigua's coach Avelino Garcia let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the third consecutive win for PBB. They moved-up to second place in Group A-B, which they share with Obradoiro S. and Gijon Basket. Loser La Antigua keeps the eighth position with three games lost. PBB will face Leon (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. La Antigua will play against Univ.Valladolid and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
