Regular Season Round 8: Feurs EF - Kaysersberg 84-66

Feurs EF has finally registered their first victory this season after seven consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Kaysersberg (2-6) 84-66. Feurs EF players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Point guard William Mensah (175-95) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Julien Wiltz (190-95) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Colton Weisbrod (196-95, college: Lamar) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Laurian Tarris (197-93) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kaysersberg. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kaysersberg's coach Fabien Drago rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Feurs EF (1-7) left bottom position moving up to thirteenth place in Group B. It was Kaysersberg's third loss in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with six games lost. Feurs EF's next round opponent will be higher ranked La Charite (#6) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
