Very expected game in Boulogne-sur-Mer where 8th ranked JSA Bordeaux (3-5) was crushed by third ranked SO Maritime Boulogne (6-2) 88-65 on Saturday. SO Maritime Boulogne dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to JSA Bordeaux's 28 and made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. SO Maritime Boulogne's coach Thibault Wolicki felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward Nathan Adrian (206-95, college: WVU, agency: Inception Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and center Mathieu Boyer (208-95) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. SO Maritime Boulogne moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Le Havre. JSA Bordeaux lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. SO Maritime Boulogne will face Tours (#4) on the road in the next round. JSA Bordeaux will play against Lourdes-Tarbes (#14) and hope to win that game.
