A very close game took place in Tobolsk between BARS-RGEU and Neftekhimik T.. Seventh ranked BARS-RGEU (1-4) got a very close victory on the road over 6th ranked Neftekhimik T. (1-6). BARS-RGEU managed to escape with a 2-point win 89-87 on Saturday evening. BARS-RGEU looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for Vladislav Solovyev (195-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Sergey Bolotskikh (206-90) helped adding 25 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). At the losing side swingman Aleksey Almushev (198-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Taras Klyundikov (190-95) scored 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Neftekhimik T. players scored in double figures. BARS-RGEU left bottom position moving up to fifth place, which they share with Elbrus Cherk. and Rusichi K. It was Neftekhimik T.'s sixth loss in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. BARS-RGEU will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Neftekhimik T. will play again against BARS-RGEU (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
