Rather expected game in Saporro where 6th ranked Akita Happinets (6-5) were defeated by fourth ranked Hokkaido L. (7-5) 82-73 on Monday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Hokkaido L. made 7 blocks. Akita Happinets were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American Markeith Cummings (198-88, college: Kennesaw St.) who scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks.
