Regular Season Round 7: Parma-2 - Lokomotiv-2 76-89

Bottom-ranked Parma-2 (0-8) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 89-76 loss to tenth ranked Lokomotiv-2 (3-5) in Perm on Monday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Lokomotiv-2. Parma-2 managed to win fourth quarter 28-21. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Lokomotiv-2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for forward Viktor Titov (199-1) who led his team to a victory scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Valentin Rogkustov (187-0) helped adding 16 points. At the losing side forward Egor Chernyshev (196-99) responded with 19 points and 7 rebounds and guard Kirill Budin (-1) scored 11 points and 7 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lokomotiv-2 moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Parma-2 lost their eighth game in a row. They still close the standings with eight games lost. Lokomotiv-2 will meet at home MBA-2 (#8) in the next round. Parma-2 will play against Avtodor-2 (#10) in Saratov and hopes to get finally their first victory.
