Regular Season Round 6: Slavoj Litom. - Sokol Pisek 69-99

U19 League top team - Sokol Pisek (7-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Slavoj (1-6) in Litomerice 99-69. Sokol Pisek dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Slavoj's 24. Sokol Pisek forced 24 Slavoj turnovers and outrebounded them 44-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. Slavoj was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. Center Martin Svoboda (202-1) had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Vojtech Sykora (190-1) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Vojtech Zajic (184-1) with 15 points and forward Matej Wiesner (190-2) scored 8 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sokol Pisek have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-0 record. Slavoj lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with six games lost. Sokol Pisek will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Slavoj will play again at home against the league's leader Sokol Pisek (#1) to get more than just one victory in their record.
