Regular Season Round 6: MZT Skopje - Split 70-64

The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked North Macedonian MZT Skopje as it allowed them to take a leadership position. MZT Skopje defeated 6th ranked Croatian Split at home 70-64. Damjan Stojanovski (198-87) scored 24 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and power forward Bojan Krstevski (206-89, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Pavle Marcinkovic (197-89, agency: XL Basketball Agency) with 7 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and Tomislav Gabric (204-95) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Split's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Borac. Split at the other side keeps the sixth place with three games lost. They share the position with Lovcen and Rogaska. Split will play next round against strong Borac trying to get back on the winning streak. MZT Skopje will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Helios Suns in Domzale.
