Regular Season Round 16: Chicago B. - Atlanta H. 113-93
Date: November 6, 2019
Very important is a road loss of third ranked Hawks (3-4) against fifth ranked Bulls (3-6) on Wednesday night. Visiting Hawks were crushed by Bulls in Chicago 113-93. Bulls forced 24 Hawks turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bulls made 9 blocks. The winners were led by Czech point guard Tomas Satoransky (201-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored that evening 27 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Finnish Lauri Markkanen (216-97, college: Arizona) supported him with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 18 points and 5 rebounds by forward Jabari Parker (203-95, college: Duke) did not help to save the game for Hawks. Swingman Vince Carter (198-77, college: UNC) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Five Bulls and four Hawks players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bulls moved-up to fourth place. Loser Hawks keep the third position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
