Very expected game when 9th ranked Opava 2010 (2-7) was smashed on the road by second ranked Olomouc Bbal (7-1) 92-63 on Friday. Olomouc Bbal dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Opava 2010's 26. They outrebounded Opava 2010 56-24 including a 27-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Olomouc Bbal looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Opava 2010 was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Vit Smerda (198-97) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Jan Hlobil (190) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Olomouc Bbal players scored in double figures.
