Regular Season Round 13: Alvark T. - Ryukyu GK 76-66

Fourth defeat of league's leader Ryukyu GK (8-4) against third ranked Toyota Alvark (8-3) 76-66 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Ryukyu GK. Toyota Alvark made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international guard Seiya Ando (184-92) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists. The former international Daiki Tanaka (191-91) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import forward DeMon Brooks (202-92, college: Davidson) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ryukyu GK. Four Ryukyu GK players scored in double figures. Toyota Alvark have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains third place with 8-3 record having 2 victories less than leader Osaka E. Ryukyu GK at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Osaka E.. They were replaced at the leadership position by Osaka E.. Ryukyu GK will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest and make it back to the top of the standings. Toyota Alvark will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Ryukyu GK in Okinawa.
