Regular Season Round 14: Alvark T. - Ryukyu GK 83-71

Toyota Alvark made 20-of-20 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. Serbian Milan Macvan (206-89) scored 23 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Daiki Tanaka (191-91) chipped in 17 points during the contest. Four Toyota Alvark players scored in double figures. American power forward Jack Cooley (206-91, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds and his fellow American import forward DeMon Brooks (202-92, college: Davidson) scored 12 points. Ryukyu GK's coach Norio Sassa tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Toyota Alvark have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Hitachi SRT. Loser Ryukyu GK keeps the second position with five games lost. Toyota Alvark will face San-en NeoPhoenix (#6) in Hamamatsu in the next round. Ryukyu GK will play at home against Shiga L-Stars (#5) and hope to win that game.
