Regular Season Round 4: Guangsha L. - Shanxi Z. 100-91

There was a small surprise in Hangzhou where seventh ranked Zhejiang Guangsha Lions (3-1) beat 5th ranked Brave Dragons (2-1) 100-91 on Sunday. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Brave Dragons' 40. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions forced 19 Brave Dragons turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jalen Reynolds (208-92, college: Xavier) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and guard Zheng Liu (186-75) who added 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side American Jamaal Franklin (196-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) responded with 25 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and forward ZhaoBao Ge (212-92) scored 20 points. Four Brave Dragons players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Brave Dragons dropped to the ninth position with one game lost. Zhejiang Guangsha Lions will face Jiangsu Dragons (#7) in Nanjing in the next round. Brave Dragons will play at home against Sharks and hope to win that game.
