There was no surprise in Roma where 14th ranked Eurobasket RO (1-7) was defeated by twelfth ranked Basket Scafati (3-5) 91-82 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard JJ Frazier (178-95, college: Georgia) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import forward Deshawn Stephens (203-89, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) who added 15 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. American forward Steve Taylor-Jr (206-93, college: Toledo) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Federico Loschi (197-90) scored 20 points. Four Basket Scafati and five Eurobasket RO players scored in double figures. Eurobasket RO's coach Luciano Nunzi let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Basket Scafati maintains twelfth position in A2 with 3-5 record. Loser Eurobasket RO keeps the fourteenth place with seven games lost. Basket Scafati will face higher ranked Zeus NPC Rieti (#7) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
