Fast Break prevailed against Piratas to even the series at 1-1. Fast Break dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Piratas' 26. Fast Break forced 20 Piratas turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Piratas helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international guard Stalin Ortiz (190-81, college: Valpo) scored 21 points to lead the charge for the winners and Venezuelan center Miguel Marriaga (205-84, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Five Fast Break players scored in double figures. Venezuelan point guard Edwin Mijares (186-92) responded with 15 points and Venezuelan guard Yohanner Sifontes (192-95) scored 10 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
