Regular Season Round 6: CSKA - Vidabasket 61-67

Vidabasket can celebrate finally their first win this season after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Sofia, where they defeated CSKA (1-4) 67-61. Vidabasket forced 23 CSKA turnovers. It was a good game for guard Allen Kurshumov (187-1) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Martin Mandalski (188-99) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Emilian Grudov (198-1) replied with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Viktor Margaritov (185-2) added 11 points in the effort for CSKA. CSKA's coach Teddy Bukov rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Vidabasket (1-3) left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Slavia. It was CSKA's fourth loss in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with four games lost. Vidabasket will play against league's leader Chavdar in Troyan in the next round and it may be the game of the week. CSKA will play on the road against Shumen (#3) to get more than just one victory in their record.
