Important game to mention about took place in Hradec Kralove. Ninth ranked Kralovsti sokoli (3-10) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 12th ranked Brno (1-12) 78-76 on Friday evening. Kralovsti sokoli looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Slovakian forward Pavol Losonsky (203-88, college: UC Irvine) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. Serbian guard Pedja Stamenkovic (190-88, agency: 011 Sports) helped adding 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Radek Farsky (193-99) responded with 22 points and 4 assists and American point guard Bryan Smithson (183-85, college: UNC Asheville) scored 12 points and 9 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Brno's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Kralovsti sokoli maintains ninth place with 3-10 record. Brno lost their twelfth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost. Kralovsti sokoli will face higher ranked BK Olomoucko (#4) in Prostejov in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Brno will play on the road against Usti n/Labem (#6) in Usti nad Labem and hope to win that game.
