Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked BK Kolin (2-11) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Svitavy (8-5) 91-81 on Friday. Svitavy looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Sean OBrien (198-94, college: SIU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Geno Crandall (193, college: Gonzaga) helped adding 14 points and 5 rebounds. Polish Pawel Krefft (196-96) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and Croatian center Vlatko Granic (204-94, college: Loyola, IL) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Despite that victory Svitavy went down to fifth position due to points difference. BK Kolin lost their seventh game in a row. They dropped to the tenth place with 11 games lost. Svitavy will face BK Decin (#8) at home in the next round. BK Kolin will play against the league's second-placed BK Opava and hope to win that game.
