Regular Season Round 9: U19 Chance - USK Praha 45-140

ZBL top team - USK Praha (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked U19 Chance (0-9) in Strakonice 140-45. USK Praha dominated down low during the game scoring 92 of its points in the paint compared to U19 Chance's 16 and made 33-of-42 charity shots (78.6 percent) during the game, while U19 Chance only scored five points from the stripe. USK Praha forced 33 U19 Chance turnovers and outrebounded them 55-14 including a 23-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. U19 Chance was plagued by 34 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Brionna Jones (190-95, college: Maryland) nailed a double-double by scoring 28 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side and the former international Tereza Vyoralova (175-94, agency: Basket Promotion Agency) accounted for 22 points. Five USK Praha players scored in double figures. Guard Simona Ruzkova (170-99) came up with 17 points and forward Katerina Galickova (182-0) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for U19 Chance in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. USK Praha have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-0 record. U19 Chance at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. USK Praha will play against Slovanka MB (#8) in Vodochody in the next round and are hoping to win another game. U19 Chance will play at home against SBS Ostrava and hopes to get finally their first victory.
