Regular Season Round 10: Wolfpack - Amager 84-65

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Herlev. First ranked Wolfpack faced 4th ranked Amager BK. Host Wolfpack (5-5) smashed guests from Kastrup (1-7) 84-65. The game was mostly controlled by Wolfpack. Amager BK was better in third quarter 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Wolfpack players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Javion Blake (190, college: Washburn, agency: Haylett Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds, 12 assists and 4 steals. The former international forward Mathias Seilund (200-90, college: Fair Dickinson) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Wolfpack players scored in double figures. Wolfpack's coach Pascal Coleman allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Australian power forward Louis Timms (206-91, college: Wayland Baptist) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Oscar Quackenbush (187-99) added 17 points in the effort for Amager BK. Wolfpack maintains first position with 5-5 record. Newly promoted Amager BK keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. Wolfpack will play against Svendborg (#5) on the road in the next round. Amager BK will play against Horsens IC and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
