Regular Season Round 3: Ukraine 2004 - Sierakow 78-40

Everything went according to plan when Ukrainian Ukraine 2004 (3-2) outplayed Polish Sierakow (1-4) in Kyiv 78-40 on Sunday. The game without a history. Ukraine 2004 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sierakow to just 6 points in third quarter. Ukraine 2004 held Sierakow to an opponent 24.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.3 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Sierakow 48-30 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ukraine 2004 made 7 blocks. It was a good game for Vladyslav Semerych (-4) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Fedir Zavhorodnii (-4) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Jakub Marchlewski (-4) answered with 4 points and 13 rebounds and Maciej Slusarczyk (-4) added 13 points in the effort for Sierakow. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
