The game in Taiyuan was also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Flying Leopards (6-4) played at the court of eighth ranked Brave Dragons (6-3). Brave Dragons managed to secure a 4-point victory 110-106. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Flying Leopards. Brave Dragons made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Brave Dragons brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Flying Leopards were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American Jamaal Franklin (196-91, college: San Diego St., agency: Slash Sports) had a double-double by scoring 44 points (!!!), 8 rebounds, 12 assists and 5 blocks to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Eric Moreland (208-91, college: Oregon St.) chipped in 12 points and 23 rebounds during the contest. Brave Dragons' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side American swingman Lance Stephenson (196-90, college: Cincinnati) responded with 32 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international center Dejun Han (215-89) scored 19 points and 9 rebounds. Five Brave Dragons and four Flying Leopards players scored in double figures. Brave Dragons moved-up to sixth place. Flying Leopards at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Qingdao E.. Brave Dragons will play against Gold Lions (#17) in Tianjin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Flying Leopards will play on the road against Blue Whales (#19) in Sichuan and hope to get back on the winning track.
