Regular Season Round 13: Toulouse - Bordeaux 89-80

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when tenth ranked Toulouse (5-7) beat at home 9th ranked JSA Bordeaux (5-8) 89-80 on Friday. Toulouse dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to JSA Bordeaux's 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a very good performance for Guinean center Mohamed Queta (208-95) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Ivorian center Bali Coulibaly (199-95) contributed with 30 points (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) for the winners. Center Mathieu Boyer (208-95) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and American forward Nathan Adrian (206-95, college: WVU, agency: Inception Sports) added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for JSA Bordeaux. Five JSA Bordeaux players scored in double figures. Toulouse moved-up to ninth place in Group A. JSA Bordeaux lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Toulouse will face higher ranked Dax-Gamarde (#8) in Gamarde les Bains in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JSA Bordeaux will play on the road against Vendee Challans and hope to win that game.
