The biggest surprise took place in Brooklyn where host Nets (10-9) beat league's leader Celtics (13-5) 112-107 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Celtics. Nets forced 19 Celtics turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Celtics' players. The best player for the winners was guard Spencer Dinwiddie (198-93, college: Colorado) who had a double-double by scoring 32 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. Forward Jarrett Allen (211-98, college: Texas) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Jayson Tatum (203-98, college: Duke) produced 26 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Kemba Walker (185-90, college: Connecticut) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Celtics' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Nets maintains fourth position with 10-9 record. Celtics at the other side still keep top place with five games lost. They share the position with Miami Heat.
