Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Omnia Basket (6-4) won against on the road 12th ranked Crema (3-8) 78-67 on Sunday. Omnia Basket made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was point guard Mattia Venucci (188-90) who scored 22 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Power forward Mirko Gloria (203-95) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. Four Omnia Basket players scored in double figures. Omnia Basket's coach Massimiliano Baldiraghi allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Luca Brambilla (194-96) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Pietro Del-Sorbo (191-85) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
