There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (4-6) crushed on the road 11th ranked Giessen 46ers (3-6) 97-77 on Sunday. ratiopharm Ulm made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Giessen 46ers turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for Slovenian swingman Zoran Dragic (196-89) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 assists. American forward Grant Jerrett (208-93, college: Arizona) contributed with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners.
