Regular Season Round 11: Mataro Feimat - Roser 80-76

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Mataro Feimat (8-3) defeated at home 12th ranked Roser (2-9) 80-76 on Sunday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Mataro Feimat outrebounded Roser 45-25 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Roser was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was naturalized GMBn forward Omar Toure (199-94) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Point guard Ignasi Arino (180-86) chipped in 17 points. Four Mataro Feimat players scored in double figures. Naturalized Andorra forward Alberto Farfan (193-91) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Raul Verano (187-99) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Mataro Feimat moved-up to second place in Group C-B, which they share with Sant Adria. Roser lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
